एक भयानक बिना सिर वाले 20 फीट लंबे कंकाल की फोटो सोशल मीडिया पर तैर रही है। इन तस्वीरों के बारे में जानकारी मिली है कि यह कंकाल रूस के कमांडर आयलैंड पर खुदाई के दौरान मिला है।





इसे देखकर आसपास के क्षेत्र के लोग भी हैरत में पड़ गए हैं। साइंटिस्ट इस 20 फीट के कंकाल की जांच में जुट गई है। बिना सिर वाले इस कंकाल की कुल 27 पसलियां हैं।





​इस विशालकाय कंकाल को देखकर शुरुआत में साइंटिस्ट ने इसे किसी दानव का कंकाल बताया लेकिन बाद में इसकी सच्चाई सामने आई। आखिर किसका कंकाल था ये…?



इस कंकाल का कुछ हिस्सा फेंसिंग की तरह जमीन से बाहर निकला हुआ दिखाई दिया था। इसके बाद इसे निकालने के लिए साइंटिस्ट टीम ने 8 घंटे तक खुदाई की।



इसे देखकर वैज्ञानिक ये अंदाजा लगा रहे है कि यह 18 वीं शताब्दी की समुद्री गाय हो सकती है। यह भी कहा जा रहा है कि इसकी लंबाई 30 फीट से भी ज्यादा रही होगी, जबकि इसका वजन 10 टन के आसपास रहा होगा।

वैज्ञानिकों का मत है कि यह जीव धरती से इसलिए विलुप्त हुआ होगा क्योंकि उस दौर में इसका सबसे ज्यादा शिकार किया जाता रहा होगा।





कहा जा रहा है कि इससे लगभग 33 लोगों का 1 महीने तक पेट भरा जा सकता था। साइंटिस्ट Maria Shitova ने बताया कि इस प्रजाति Sirenia भी कहा जाता है, जिसका नाम ग्रीक मायथोलॉजी पर आधारित है।
