जानकारों की मानें तो शहर की लगभग ज्यादातर दुकानों परचून की दुकानों पर खोवा व पनीर के नाम पर नकली पनीर व खोवा दिया जा रहा है। नकली पनीर को बेचने का गौरख धंधा इस लिए बढ रहा है। क्योकि उपमंडल के कस्बों में अवैध रूप से पनीर व खोवा बनाने की फैक्ट्री लोगों ने अपने घरों में लगा दी है। प्रशासन को सारी जानकरी होने के बाद भी कोई कार्रवाही नही की जा रही है। जिससे इस गौरख धंधे के कारोबार को करने वाले लोग इस धंधे को बेरोकटोक खुलेआम कर शहर के मुख्य चौक लाल कुऑ , चौराहों के अलावा परचून की दुकान तक पर घर में सप्लाई दी जा रही है। जिससे लोगों के स्वास्थ्य के साथ प्रशासन की देखरेख में खिलवाड़ किया जा रहा है। शहर के मौजिज लोगों दिनेश बंसल, प्रेम गोयल, शिव मंदिर अध्यक्ष अनिल गोयल का कहना है कि गांव से कुछ लोग नकली पनीर को बनाकर बाजार के दुकानदारों को लगभग सौ रूपए किलो में देकर जाते है जो मोटा मुनाफा कमाने के चक्कर में इस पनीर को लगभग दौ सौ चालीस रूपए से दो सौ अस्सी रूपए में बेचकर मोटा मुनाफा कमा रहे है। प्रशासन की तरफ से कोई कार्रवाही नही होने की सूरत में परचून के काम करने वाले दुकानदार भी इस गौरख धंधे को बेरोकट अंजाम दे रहे है। लोगों का कहना है कि उपमंडल के गांव मांडीखेड़ा , शेखपुर, नरियाला, गूजरनंगला, बीवा, अगोन , बडकली चौक, अटेरना में नकली पनीर को कारोबार बेखौफ किया जा रहा है।
