राजस्थान के हर क़िले का एक अलग ही तरक का इतिहास हे। कोई किला अपनी सुंदरता के लिये जाना जाता है।कोई किला उसकी विशाल ता से जाना जाता ऐसे कई क़िले आपको पुरे देश में मिल जायेंगे लेकिन आज हम एक ऐसे क़िले के बारे मे बताने जा रहे है। जहां दुश्मनों पर चाँदी के गोलों से हमला किया गया था।







चूरू का किला इस क़िले का निर्माण कुशल सिंह ने करवाया था। जब चूरू पर षिवजी सिंह का शासन था।उस समय जहां बीकानेर में सूरत सिंह का शासन था। लेकिन दोनों राजा ओ के बीच अनबन थी. जहाृं चूरू के राजा शिव जी सिंह किसी की भी अधीनता स्वीकार नही करते वह स्वतंत्र राजा थे।





अचानक चूरू पर हमला



1814ई. जब बीकानेर के राजा सूरत सिंह ने अचानक चूरू पर हमला कर दिया तब चूरू कि सैन्य ताकत कर्नल टोंड के मुताबित मात्र 200 पैदल सैनिक तथा 200 घुड सवार स्ैानिक लेकिन इस विपदा में चूरू की जनता ने अपने राजा का साथ दिया और दुश्मनों का सामना करने के लिये तैयार हो गये।



जब चूरू पर हमला हुआ तब चूस् के राजा वह जनता ने बहादुरी से दुश्मन सैना का मुकाबला किया युद्ध के दौरान जब गोला बारूद खत्म हो गये तब गांव के सुनार वह सभी गांव वालो ने चाॅंदी लाकर राजा को दि तब राजा ने लौहार से चाॅंदी को पिघला कर उसमे बारूद भरकर दुष्मनों पर दागे इस युद्व मे आखिर कार चूरू की जीत हुई।



अपके हिससब से इस जीत का हकदार कौन है। चूरू का राजा या चूरू की जनता जिसने अपने राज्स कि रक्षा के लिये चाॅंदी के गोले बनवाये थे।
