Shivaling is considered to be the form of Shiva only when that philosophy of Shivalinga itself is considered as Mahadev's philosophy. Today we are going to tell you about a temple of Mahadev which is near Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu. There is a floating Shivling in the sea. Here devotees enter the water and reach that Shivalinga and worship Him.



According to Kavadanti, Lord Shriram had coronation of Vibhishan at this place after defeating Ravana in the war. Kothandaramar Temple is 13 kilometers away from Rameshwaram, which is called the only temple of Vibhishan in India.



It is said that after defeating Ravana in battle, when Rama returned to this place with Vibhishan, the coronation of Vibhishan was done right here. There are many paintings on the walls, saying this story inside the temple.



Near this temple there is the sea of ​​Bay of Bengal and the Gulf of Mannar. In this ocean, a stone shinging is made which people worship. The special thing of this Shivling is that it is made of stone which does not sink in the ocean. Ramsetu was built with these stones.



To reach this Shivalinga, devotees have to go into the sea and go inside the sea. A telescope is also kept in this temple, so that Ram Setu can be seen. The telescopes are used to show the bridge by Rs 10.



From here, the bridge made from floating stones can be seen, which was 48 km long and went to Lanka.

शिवलिंग को शिव का साक्षात रूप माना जाता है तभी तो शिवलिंग के दर्शन को स्वयं महादेव का दर्शन माना जाता है. आज हम आपको महादेव के एक ऐसे मंदिर के बारे में बताने जा रहे हैं जो तमिलनाडु में रामेश्वरम के पास है. जहां के समुद्र में एक तैरता हुआ शिवलिंग है. यहां पर भक्त पानी में घुसकर उस शिवलिंग तक पहुंचते हैं और उसकी पूजा करते हैं.



किवदंती के अनुसार, इसी जगह पर भगवान श्रीराम ने रावण को युद्ध में हराने के बाद विभीषण का राज्याभिषेक किया था. रामेश्वरम से 13 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर है कोथंदारामार टेंपल, जिसे भारत में विभीषण का एकमात्र मंदिर कहा जाता है.



कहा जाता है कि रावण को युद्ध में हराने के बाद जब विभीषण के साथ इस जगह राम लौटे थे तो यहीं विभीषण का राज्याभिषेक किया गया था. मंदिर के अंदर इसी कथा को कहते हुए कई पेंटिंग भी दीवारों पर बनी है.



इसी मंदिर के पास बंगाल की खाड़ी और मन्नार की खाड़ी का समुद्र है. इसी समुद्र में एक पत्थर का शिवलिंग बना है जिसे लोग पूजते हैं. इस शिवलिंग की खास बात है कि ये उस पत्थर से बना है जो समुद्र में डूबता नहीं है. इन्हीं पत्थरों से रामसेतु का निर्माण हुआ था.



इस शिवलिंग तक पहुंचने के लिए भक्तों को पानी में उतरकर समुद्र के अंदर जाना होता है. इस मंदिर में एक दूरबीन भी रखी है जिससे राम सेतु को देखा जा सकता है. दूरबीन से सेतु दिखाने के लिए 10 रुपए लिए जाते हैं.



यहां से समुद्र में तैरते पत्थरों से बने पुल को देखा जा सकता है जो कभी 48 किमी लंबा था और लंका तक जाता था.
