हरा रंग:-आपने कई जगह इन मील के पत्थरों का रंग हरा भी नोटिस किया होगा। यदि आपको हरे रंग के पट्टे दिखें, तो इसका मतलब है कि आप नेशनल हाईवे से निकल कर स्टेट हाईवे पर पहुंच चुके हैं। आपको बता दें कि स्टेट हाईवे राज्यों और जिलों को आपस में जोड़ते हैं। इनकी देखरेख की जिम्मेदारी राज्य सरकार के हाथों में होती है।







कला रंग:- क्या आपने कभी इन माइलस्टोन को काले रंग से पेंट देखा है? अगर हां, तो इसका मतलब है कि अब आप ट्रैवल करते हुए किसी बड़े शहर या जिले में प्रवेश कर चुके हैं। यहां की सड़कों की जिम्मेदारी जिला प्रसाशन की होती है।







नारंगी रंग:- अगर आपकी नजर नारंगी रंग के माइलस्टोन पर पड़े, तो समझ जाएं कि आप किसी गांव में आ चुके हैं। ये सडकें प्रधानमंत्री ग्राम सड़क योजना के अंतर्गत बनाई गई होती हैं।
