दिल्ली के एक गर्ल्स हॉस्टल में साधारण आकर से कई गुना बड़ी छिपकली के निकलने से हड़कंप मच गया, दरअसल इस छिपकली की फोटो सोशल मीडिया में तेजी से वायरल हो रही है, बताया जा रहा है कि हाल ही में चले तेज आंधी तूफान में यह जंगल से सीधे हॉस्टल की छत पर आ गई होगी जिसके बाद यह हॉस्टल के अंदर घुस गई. हालाँकि बाद में वन विभाग के कर्मचारियों ने आकर छिपकली को बेहोश किया और अपने साथ लेकर चले गए

बता दें,  दिल्ली में चली तेज आंधी तूफान के बाद 16 मई को पहली बार यह छिपकली देखी गई थी, जानकारों के मुताबिक  मॉनिटर लिज़ार्ड नाम की इस छिपकली का काटना इंसान के लिए इतना घातक नहीं होता है लेकिन काटने से दर्द जरूर होता है और इंसान बीमार भी हो सकता है. इस तरह की छिपकली शहरों के भीतर पाई नहीं जाती है इनका ठिकाना सिर्फ जंगल ही होते है, जंगलों में भी आजकल ये विलुप्त होने की कगार है.
