Murari was born in 1835 in Bengaluru. And in the year 1930 he had come to Varanasi. Murari, who worked as a cobbler by profession, told that he worked as a cobbler for 122 years of his age. After this, he took leave from this work in the year 1957. After this people started coming to see him. People started telling him the goddess power. They say that he is not a goddess or god. Rather, he himself is waiting for his death for many years, but death is not visible to him.

मुरारी का जन्म वर्ष 1835 में बेंगलुरु में हुआ था। और 1930 में वह वाराणसी रहने आ गए थे। पेशे से एक मोची का कार्य करने वाले मुरारी ने बताया कि उन्होंने अपनी उम्र का 122 साल तक मोची का कार्य किया। इसके बाद में उन्होंने वर्ष 1957 में इस कार्य से छुट्टी ले ली। इसके बाद लोग उनको देखने के लिए आने लगे। लोग उन्हें देवी शक्ति बताने लगे। उनका कहना है कि वह कोई भी देवी या फिर देवता नहीं है। बल्कि वह तो खुद अपनी मृत्यु का कई वर्षों से इंतजार कर रहे हैं, लेकिन मौत है कि उसकी तरफ नजर ही नहीं डालती।
