बता दें कि हजरत साहब के खिलाफ फेसबुक पर किए गए विवादित टिप्पणी को लेकर शुक्रवार को कस्बे के पंकज साहू के खिलाफ सरायमीर थाना क्षेत्र में एफआईआर कराई गई थी। शनिवार को टिप्पणी के विरोध में मुस्लिम समाज के लोगों की ओर से बाजार बंद का ऐलान किया गया। बाजार बंद को लेकर काफी संख्या में लोग बाजार में एकत्र हो गए और बाजार को बंद करा दिया। टिप्पणी किए जाने के विरोध में नारेबाजी की। इसी बीच भीड़ ने पथराव करना शुरू कर दिया। जिसमें पुलिस की गाड़ियां टूट गईं

इस दाैरान उपद्रवियाें द्वारा किए गए पथराव में एसडीएम और कई पुलिसकर्मी घायल हो गए। इसके अलावा 20 वाहनों में भी तोड़फोड़ की गई

सूचना पर डीएम व एसपी सहित कई थानों की फोर्स मौके पर पहुंची। बिगड़ते हालात को देखते हुए पुलिस ने लाठी भांज कर भीड़ को खदेड़ दिया। इस दौरान आंसू गैस के गोले भी दागे गए। तब कहीं जाकर प्रदर्शनकारी शांत हुए। एहतियात के तौर पर सरायमीर कस्बे से लेकर थाने तक पुलिस फोर्स तैनात कर दी गई है।
