परिजन मेरठ पहुंचे, जहां शनिवार को पोस्टमार्टम हुआ है। परिजन पोस्टमार्टम के बाद शव को लेकर मसूरी स्थित नाहल पहुंचे। परिजनों का कहना है कि महरिस को नाहल में इसलिए नाहल में ही सुपुर्द-ए-खाक किया गया क्योंकि कि वह ससुराल नहीं पहुंची थी, अगर वह ससुराल पहुंच गई होती तो उसका अंतिम संस्कार मुजफ्फरनगर के मिमलाना रोड स्थित गांव में होता, जहां का दूल्हा मोहम्मद शाबेज रहने वाला है।
