मिस्टर इंडिया’ और ‘बैंडिट क्वीन’ जैसी फिल्में बनाने वाले शेखर कपूर को खजुराहो अंतर्राष्ट्रीय फिल्म फेस्टिवल में लाइफ टाइम अचीवमेंट अवार्ड से नवाजा गया. इवेंट के बाद कपूर खजुराहो की गलियों में घूमते और फोटो खींचते दिखाई दिए. इस दौरान शेखर कपूर ने सोशल मीडिया पर 100 साल की एक बुजुर्ग महिला की फोटो शेयर कर उसकी जिंदगी के बारे में लिखा है. उन्होंने लिखा कि, ये बुजुर्ग महिला 50 साल से एक ही जगह पर चाय पिला रही हैं. इतना ही नहीं पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री जवाहर लाल नेहरू भी इस महिला के हाथों बनी चाय पी चुके हैं.

कौन है चाय वाली बुजुर्ग महिला

इस बुजुर्ग महिला का नाम है हरदी बाई रैकवार. ये खजुराहो के पश्चिमी मंदिर समूह के पास एसबीआई बैंक के सामने झोपड़ी बनाकर रहती है .उनके पति की मौत के बाद उसका कोई सहारा नहीं रहा तो उसने झोपड़ी के बाहर ही चाय की गुमटी खोली और आज 100 साल की उम्र पार करने के बाद भी स्वादिष्ट चाय बना लेती है.

हरदी बाई इस कदर मशहूर है कि जैकी श्रॉफ फिल्म फेस्टिवल के दौरान समय निकालकर महिला के साथ बैठे और उनका हाल चाल जाना. बाद में उसके हाथों से बनी हुई चाय पी और जमकर तारीफ करते हुए फोटो खिंचवाई.



शेखर कपूर भी हरदी बाई के बारे में ट्वीट कर चुके हैं. उन्होंने लिखा कि मैं ख़ुशी ढूंढने दुनिया घूमता रहता हूं, लेकिन हरदी बाई खजुराहो में रहकर खुश है. नेहरु से लेकर कई बड़ी हस्तियों को चाय पिलाने के बावजूद वे इतनी साधारण बनी हुई हैं. यही उनकी महानता को दर्शाता है.
