भारतीय ट्रक ड्राइवर हरकिरीत सिंह के लिए 22 साल की जवाहर सैफ अल कुमैती किसी फरिश्ते से कम नहीं थी. दरअसल, कुछ दिनों पहले जवाहर अल कुमैती अपने दोस्तों संग खइमाह शहर के लिए निकली थीं. इसी दौरान उसने देखा कि दो ट्रकों में ज़बरदस्त आग लगी है. यह देख कर उसने अपनी गाड़ी रोकी और ट्रक के पास गई. ट्रक के पास जाने पर अंदर से उसे किसी के कराहने की आवाज आई.

यह देखते ही जवाहर उसकी मदद करने के लिए आगे आई. आप जानकर हैरान होंगे कि उस वक़्त घटनास्थल पर बहुत सारे लोग मौजूद थे लेकिन किसी में झुलसते हुए आग को बुझाने की हिम्मत नहीं थी. लेकिन जवाहर ने बुर्के की मदद से केबिन में लगे आग को किसी तरह बुझाया और हरकिरीत को बाहर निकाला. हरकिरीत को निकालने के बाद वह इमरजेंसी सर्विस आने तक वहां रुकी रहीं. बाद में वह पुलिस से मिले बिना चली गईं.

भारतीय दूतावास ने भी इस लड़की के जज्बे को सलाम करते हुए उसे सम्मान दिया

लोगों को सऊदी की इस लड़की की बहादुरी के बारे में तब पता चला जब इमरजेंसी डिपार्टमेंट के हेड मेजर तारेक अल शरहन ने खुद इस घटना को इंस्टाग्राम पर शेयर किया. वह इसके ज़रिये जवाहर की तलाश करके उसे सम्मानित करना चाहते थे. पोस्ट शेयर करने के बाद जवाहर का पता चल गया और वहां की स्थानीय पुलिस ने उसे सम्मानित किया. वहीं, भारतीय दूतावास ने भी इस लड़की के जज्बे को सलाम करते हुए उसे सम्मान दिया.
