Munasariya tehsil along the border of China is also known for its diversity. A wonderful puja is also known in half a dozen villages of this tehsil, popularly known as Half Sansar, Hada Munasari. The name of this worship is Goddess Pooja, but the Sanatani Hindu worship in the worship of Lord Shiva's Alkhanatha.

Such names

The word God and the worship of Alkhanath are two opposite currents. But here the tradition of worshiping Shiva on the name of God is going on for centuries. It is believed that during the Mughal regime, when the villagers were worshiping Lord Alkhanath, the Mughals saw them. When asked by the Mughals, villagers talked about worshiping God. By listening to the name of worship of God, the Mughals allowed villagers to. Since then, it has been named as Khuda Puja. After four centuries, worship of Lord Alkhanath is being worshiped in the name of Khuda Puja.

This is how God worship

This worship occurring in different villages of Munasariya is done for three days in a village, seven days in a village and 22 consecutive days in some villages. Khuda Pooja is in the darkness of the night. In the house where Alkhanath is worshiped, one part of the roof is left open. It is believed that Lord Alkhanath Puja comes from this open part of the roof.





On the first day of worship, devotees worship the devadangals in the Puja, bath them in sacred rivers and nauses. The place of worship is purified by sprinkling Jalabhishek and Panchamrta. In the day, local Goddess Deities are established with Alkhanath, Durga, Kalika.

In the evening, there is Maharaati with Ganesh worship. After the aarti, Jagarya sings the saga of Alkhnath. After this the deities are incarnated and the Dhol blesses the devotees on the threshold of Nagdars. Cloth is put on the power station of the worship. In this regard, Nain Ram, a resident of Harkot, who is singing a jagar in Khuda Pooja, explains that Alkhanath is the form of Lord Shiva. She prefers to stay in a place of sanctity in solitude.

चीन सीमा से लगी मुनस्यारी तहसील अपनी विविधताओं के लिए भी जानी जाती है। आधा संसार, आधा मुनस्यारी नाम से चर्चित इस तहसील के दर्जनों गांवों में एक अद्भुत पूजा भी चर्चित है। इस पूजा का नाम तो खुदा पूजा है, परंतु सनातनी हिंदू इस पूजा में भगवान शिव के अलखनाथ रूप की पूजा करते हैं।

वैसे तो यह पूजा विषम वर्षों में होती है, परंतु कुछ गांवों में बारह साल के बाद होती है। मार्गशीर्ष और पौष माह में शुक्ल पक्ष में होने वाली यह पूजा तीन से लेकर बाइस दिन तक चलती है। यह अनूठी पूजा इस बार यहां सोमवार से शुरू हुई है।

ऐसे पड़ा नाम

खुदा शब्द और अलखनाथ की पूजा दो विपरीत धाराएं हैं। परंतु यहां पर खुदा के नाम पर शिव की पूजा की परंपरा सदियों से चली आ रही है। मान्यता है कि मुगल शासनकाल में जब ग्रामीण भगवान अलखनाथ की पूजा कर रहे थे तो मुगलों ने उन्हें देख लिया। मुगलों द्वारा पूछने पर ग्रामीणों ने खुदा की पूजा करने की बात कही। खुदा की पूजा का नाम सुनकर मुगलों ने ग्रामीणों को अनुमति दे दी। तब से इसका नाम खुदा पूजा ही रहा। चार सदियों के बाद भी भगवान अलखनाथ की खुदा पूजा के नाम पर पूजा-अर्चना हो रही है।

इस तरह होती है खुदा पूजा

मुनस्यारी के अलग-अलग गांवों में होने वाली यह पूजा किसी गांव में तीन दिन तो किसी गांव में सात दिन और कुछ गांवों में लगातार 22 दिनों तक होती है। खुदा पूजा रात के अंधेरे में होती है। जिस मकान में अलखनाथ की पूजा होती है उसकी छत का एक हिस्सा खुला छोड़ा जाता है।। मान्यता है कि छत के इसी खुले हिस्से से भगवान अलखनाथ पूजा में आते हैं। 





पूजा के पहले दिन श्रद्धालु पूजा में काम आने वाले देवडांगरों को गाजे-बाजे के साथ पवित्र नदियों, नौलों में स्नान कराते हैं। पूजा स्थल को जलाभिषेक और पंचामृत छिड़क कर उसे पवित्र किया जाता है। दिन में अलखनाथ, दुर्गा, कालिका के साथ स्थानीय देवी देवताओं की स्थापना की जाती है।

सायं काल को गणेश पूजन के साथ महाआरती होती है। आरती के बाद  जगरिए अलखनाथ की गाथा का गायन करते हैं। इसके बाद देवता अवतरित होते हैं और ढोल नगाड़ों की थाप पर भक्तों को आशीर्वाद देते हैं। पूजा के शक्तिस्थल पर कपड़े का पर्दा लगाया जाता है। इस संबंध में खुदा पूजा में जागर गाने वाले गायक हरकोट निवासी नैन राम बताते हैं कि अलखनाथ भगवान शिव के रूप हैं। वह एकांत में शुचिता वाले स्थान पर रहना पसंद करते हैं।
