Jawa Motorcycles recently launched its Jawa Forty Two bike in India. Several new features are included in this bike. The bike has been a modern touch with the Vintage theme. Its direct competitor in the Indian market is Royal Enfield Classic 350.


Jawa Forty Two has a 293cc liquid cooled, single cylinder, 4-stroke, DOHC engine, which generates a maximum power of 27bhp and Peak torque of 28Nm. Apart from this, it has a 6-speed gearbox transmission. Its power-to-weight ratio is 158.8 horsepower per ton.

In the Royal Enfield Classic 350, 346.0cc, 1-cylinder engine is generated, which generates a maximum power of 19.8 bhp at 5250 rpm and 28 nm of peak torque at 4000 rpm. This bike is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox transmission. Air cooled system has been given to cool the engine. It has the option of both self and kickstart. Its power-to-weight ratio is 103.1 horsepower per ton.
