BHU VC, on vacation, was on a lathi charge on girl students

Vice Chancellor of Benaras Hindu University GC Tripathi has gone on leave for citing personal reasons. Earlier he had said that if he is asked to go on leave, he will resign from the post. The dispute had increased in the BHU after tampering with the girl student and VC Tripathi was also summoned to Delhi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also instructed UP CM Yogi Adityanath to resolve the dispute after the police raid on the students and students who had opposed it in BHU. Meanwhile, the Human Resources Ministry has also started looking for new names of BAU. The term of the university's VC GC Tripathi, which was in dispute over the violence in BHU campus, is ending on November 30.

On Friday, the Crime Branch investigating the university violence had summoned 20 people, including former Proctor Omkarnath Singh. Omkarnath Singh resigned after the situation deteriorated. Along with this, Rayna Singh has been appointed as the new Chief Proctor of the University. In the dispute arising out of lathi charge on girl students, the university got the female chief proctor.

A notice has also been issued to 10 students on behalf of crime brow in BHU violence. Following the intervention of the UP government, instructions have been given to ensure CCTV cameras and security arrangements in BHU premises so that there is no negligence with the safety of girl students in the future and there can be no question mark on the image of the university.



छुट्टी पर गए BHU के वीसी, छात्राओं पर लाठीचार्ज से हुआ था बवाल

बनारस हिन्दू विश्वविद्यालय के वाइस चांसलर जीसी त्रिपाठी निजी कारणों का हवाला देकर छुट्टी पर चले गए हैं. इससे पहले उन्होंने कहा था कि अगर उन्हें छुट्टी पर जाने को कहा जाता है तो वह पद से इस्तीफा दे देंगे. पिछले दिनों बीएचयू में छात्रा से छेड़छाड़ के बाद विवाद बढ़ गया था और वीसी त्रिपाठी को दिल्ली भी तलब किया गया था.

बीएचयू में छात्रा से छेड़छाड़ और उसके विरोध में उतरे छात्र-छात्राओं पर पुलिसिया लाठी चार्ज के बाद प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भी यूपी के सीएम योगी आदित्यनाथ से बात कर विवाद को सुलझाने के निर्देश दिए थे. इस बीच मानव संसाधन मंत्रालय ने बीएयू के नए नामों की तलाश भी शुरू कर दी है. बीएचयू परिसर में हुई हिंसा से निपटने को लेकर विवाद में रहे यूनिवर्सिटी के वीसी जीसी त्रिपाठी का कार्यकाल 30 नवंबर को खत्म हो रहा है.

शुक्रवार को यूनिवर्सिटी हिंसा मामले की जांच कर रही क्राइम ब्रांच ने पूर्व प्रॉक्टर ओंकारनाथ सिंह समेत 20 लोगों को तलब भी किया था. हालात बिगड़ने के बाद ओंकारनाथ सिंह ने इस्तीफा दे दिया था. साथ ही रायना सिंह को यूनिवर्सिटी का नया चीफ प्रॉक्टर बनाया गया है. छात्राओं पर लाठीचार्ज से उपजे विवाद के बीच यूनिवर्सिटी को महिला चीफ प्रॉक्टर मिली.

बीएचयू हिंसा में क्राइम ब्रॉन्च की ओर से 10 छात्रों को नोटिस भी जारी किया गया है. यूपी सरकार की दखल के बाद बीएचयू परिसर में सीसीटीवी कैमरे और सुरक्षा इंतजाम और पुख्ता करने के निर्देश दिए गया हैं ताकि भविष्य में छात्राओं की सुरक्षा के साथ किसी भी तरह की लापरवाही ना हो और यूनिवर्सिटी की छवि पर कोई सवालिया निशान न खड़े हो सकें.
