Originally from Madhya Pradesh, this young woman lives in Vadodara. He wrote a letter to the Surat police commissioner and alleged that Jain Muni had done a riot on October 1 in Nanpura Timaliyavad of Surat.

The girl came there with her family in a religious context. Jain Muni is doing Chaatmars in Surat these days. Jain Muni asked the girl to stay at night for religious activity. During this time, Jain Muni forced the schoolgirl with force. In this regard, a case was registered in the 8th police station on Friday itself.

The misdeed of a woman in the medical check-up at the New Civil Hospital here has been confirmed. On the other hand, this sadhu belonging to the Digambar Jain community was taken into custody after the police called for questioning. Some organizations of the Jain community of Surat also performed here in support of the aforesaid monk.

सूरत। गुजरात के सूरत में 19 साल की एक युवती के साथ एक जैन मुनि पर लगे दुष्कर्म के आरोपों की शनिवार को मेडिकल जांच के बाद पुष्टि हो गई है। पुलिस के एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी ने बताया कि 45 साल के जैन मुनि शांतिसागर (णमोकार वाले बाबा) को पुलिस ने हिरासत में ले लिया है और उनकी गिरफ्तारी की प्रक्रिया भी पूरी की जा रही है।





मूल रूप से मध्य प्रदेश की रहने वाली यह युवती वडोदरा में रहती है। उसने सूरत के पुलिस कमिश्नर को पत्र लिख कर आरोप लगाया कि जैन मुनि ने एक अक्तूबर को सूरत के नानपुरा टीमलियावाड में उससे दुष्कर्म किया था।

युवती वहां अपने परिजनों के साथ उनके पास धार्मिक प्रसंग में आई थी। जैन मुनि इन दिनों सूरत में चातुमार्स कर रहे हैं। जैन मुनि ने छात्रा को धार्मिक क्रिया के लिए रात में रुकने को कहा। इस दौरान जैन मुनि ने छात्रा के साथ जबरदस्ती की। इस संबंध में शुक्रवार को ही यहां अठवा थाने में मामला दर्ज किया गया था।

युवती की यहां न्यू सिविल अस्पताल में मेडिकल जांच में दुष्कर्म की पुष्टि हो गई। उधर, दिगंबर जैन समुदाय से संबंधित इस साधु को पुलिस ने पूछताछ के लिए बुलाने के बाद हिरासत में ले लिया। सूरत के जैन समुदाय के कुछ संगठनों ने उक्त साधु के समर्थन में यहां प्रदर्शन भी किया।
