आरुषि हत्याकांड के मामले में इलाहाबाद न्यायालय ने CBI के निर्णय को पलटते हुए तलवार दंपति को सबूतों के अभाव में शक का फायदा देते हुए बरी कर दिया. मामले में आरुषि दंपति के पक्ष में आए निर्णय से एक बड़ा सवाल सामने आया कि अगर आरुषि व हेमराज की मर्डर तलवार दंपति ने नहीं की तो आखिर उन दोनों का किलर कौन था?

क्यों पुलिस व सीबीआई इस मामले की सही जांच व पर्याप्त सबूत पेश करने में विफल रही? इन सब सवालों का जवाब टाइम्स ऑफ इंडिया के पूर्व पत्रकार की रिपोर्ट में मिलते हैं. ये रिपोर्ट बताती है कि आखिर कैसे उस रोज आरुषि व हेमराज की ही मर्डर नहीं हुई बल्कि दूसरे दिन सबूतों का भी कत्ल कर दिया गया, वो भी पुलिस के सामने.



रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक 17 मई 2008 की प्रातः काल आरुषि हत्याकांड के मामले को समझने के लिए नीलाभ बनर्जी ने तलवार दंपति के घर की ओर रुख किया. वो लिखते हैं कि उन्हें एक स्टोरी करनी थी जिससे की वो अपराध सीन को ग्राफिक्स के जरिए रीक्रिएट कर सकें.

वो कहते हैं कि मुझे तलवार दंपति के घर को ढूंढने में कोई दिक्कत नहीं हुई क्योंकि ओवी वैन्स की लंबी कतारों ने मुझे उस घर तक पहुंचा दिया जहां दिल दहलाने वाला हत्याकांड हुआ था. वहां आसपड़ोस के लोगों की भीड़ जमा थी.

फ्लैट की सीढ़ियों व आंगन में उन पड़ोसियों व मीडियाकर्मियों की भारी भीड़ मौजूद थी जो घटना की असलियत जानने के इच्छुक थे. मुझे वहां पहुंचकर सबसे पहले हैरानी इस बात से हुई कि ग्रिल पर ताला लगा हुआ था जो ये बता रहा था कि वहां कुछ गड़बड़ हो सकती है.

भीड़ में किसी ने सलाह दी कि छत पर जाइए वहां बहुत खून पड़ा है. छत पर जाने पर हैरानी का आलम व बढ़ गया. वहां भीड़ को रोकने के लिए पर्याप्त पुलिसकर्मी भी मौजूद नहीं थे.
