In the Taj Mahal campus, there is a cause for concern for tourism in Agra, issued between the Hindu and Muslim groups, to pay 'Pooja Aarti' and 'Namaz'. Veterans of tourism sector fear that this dispute could provoke communal riots in Agra.

In fact, this whole case arose after the order of the Supreme Court when the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) last week directed the Supreme Court directive and notification on the door of Taj Mahal.

In this, local Muslims were allowed to offer prayers only after Friday afternoon, when it is closed to the public. But the local people want to remove this restriction, so that they can pay prayers daily and the people from the city also get permission to offer prayers.

On the other hand, Hindu organizations who call the Taj Mahal as Shiv Mandir are threatening to perform puja-aarti here. They say that if people are praying even after the Supreme Court order they will worship here. Due to this, a woman sprayed the river Ganga around the memorial so that the dispute increased even more.

Sayed Ibrahim Hussain Zaidi, Chief of the Taj Mahal Intazamiya Committee, on this controversy, says that if Taj Mahal's history was to be seen, when Taj Mahal was built in 1632 Since then, prayers are being offered here. But now people here are making controversy.

In 1966, Archaeological Survey of India appointed Imam Sabik Ali to pray here. He continued to pray namaz for a long time, but after his health was spoiled, his son Syed Sadiq Ali offered prayers here.

The demand of the Muslim community is that if the local Muslims have been allowed to read prayers on Friday, then the external Muslims should also be allowed to do it.
