Bank of Baroda's customers pay attention

Bank of Baroda has made changes in the Minimum Balance Rule of Minimum Balance in the Baroda Advantage Savings Account. Bank has informed through tweets that the new Minimum Quarterly Average Balance for Baroda Advantage Savings Account will be effective from February 1, 2019. Under this, the rule of Minimum Balance will change in the Savings Account.

Minimum balance should be kept

For Bank of Baroda's Baroda Savings Account, now you have to keep at least 2000 rupees in your account from February 1, 2019, instead of the minimum quarterly balance in the metro and urban branches. On the other hand, if you have an account in the semi-urban area, then you have to keep 1000 rupees instead of 500 rupees in your account. The bank has not made any change in the rules for rural areas. Balance in rural branches will be same as it is now.
Will pay fine

If you do not keep the minimum balance in your account, you will have to pay a fine, which will be deducted from your account. According to the Bank of Baroda website, if you do not have minimum quarterly balance for different Savings Account of the bank, you will have to pay 1000 rupees and GST as a penalty.
